    And there's my favorite pitcher.

He could start for pretty much any team in the league right now.

#1 overall pick according to my scout, but as stated, he's got to work on that third pitch.

Legit Middle IF's are the most precious commodity in the BLB.

I was first to blow the Nickname horn loud and proud. It's a tell. I'm sure of it.

    Agreed on both points.

Simmons is clearly the best hitting prospect in this draft. To top it off, he's a legit SS.

Bananas is an awesome nickname. I'm not doing it on purpose, but that's 3 straight years I've taken someone with a nickname with my first pick.

I liked Vleugel, but there were 3 other pitchers aside from Keifer I would've taken over him. Bananas was one.

I honestly thought I'd get Vleugel at 4. I like him.

Looks like I probably didn't have to make that trade to get my guy.

Oh well, we really liked Vleugel's dominance. 200K, 18BB, in 94 innings. At any level, that's just amazing.

I was afraid you would since you were looking for help at that position. It's why I tried to get that pick from you. Plus power from a SS with speed and defense?! I couldn't ask for more.

You were right. I thought the quality of pitchers in this draft would allow him to slip, but I was way off. As said, it was a great pick.
