A few questions regarding the waivers process:

Are our waiver claims due this sim for all the guys who went on waivers Thursday or can we wait until Tuesday?

I believe they are due for this sim. Otherwise, the player will have cleared waivers.

Also, is the waiver priorty going to be based on our current-year records or prior-year? Is the waiver priority league first followed by record as IRL or is record the only determining factor?

prior-year records. not sure about the league priority though. I think we are just going by record.

Should we post our claims in the waiver forum or do we just make in-game claims?

definitely in game. but both can't hurt right?

Hmm... I don't know then.

What I'm talking about is I went through every guy in my minors with a + listed next to their name. I offered all of them minor league extensions...

The next sim, 10 or 12 out of the guys I listed... that had the + were now without it.

I assumed by resigning the player, it took the + away...

Maybe I'm just seeing things.

I just checked the guys he resigned and unless the options remaining per the game is different than those on the player pages of this website options are not resetting - for instance -

The guys he resigned that still have 3 options are guys who were never on the 40-man roster - for instance

Or guys whose major league service time is the same as their time on the 40-man roster -

I don't think there is a problem unless the in-game the options are different from here.

I think the easiest solution is to not allow Minor League contract extensions. I don't really see a need for them anyway and not sure such a thing even exists in real life.

Thoughts?
