I'm thinking he was new also. I'm pretty sure the guy I got, Conan Barry, was new as well.

Hmm, well I always thought he was in the game. Maybe he wasn't.
Either way, I'm happy to have him.

Maybe... I guess... just seems weird that I would have missed him that many times that I saw my board. Doesn't affect me personally, as it wouldn't have changed who I drafted. Just thought it was strange.

So... this Robby Williams cat has to be someone that appeared after we fixed the Draft Utility. No way that guy drops that far any other way.
Batavia - Like the last pick. I think that Greek kid is going to be good.

Do the infield/outfield ratings in the utility match up with anyone's scout ratings from the game?
I hope not.

Our scouts had him 67664. We'll be moving him to RF since he's not much of a center fielder. He's got good speed and has hit well thus far in college, though it is a small sample size.
How's everyone else feel about Conan? I was surprised to see him last this long, so maybe my scout is high as a kite.

With the 2.20 pick, the California Kodiaks select SP Robby Williams from the Arizona Wildcats. GM David Lint had this to say about the pick, "Robby Williams falling to us at 2.20 was a gift; I would have selected him at 2.17 but I left my draft sheet at home and picked Wes Farmer. We're ecstatic to have both guys and are confident that our future will continue to be as bright as our present."
Williams, a 21 year RHP out of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania is current 1-3 with a 4.83 ERA and a 52/15 K/BB rate in 7 starts this year.
"We're going to call him 'Checkmate Jr.', we have that much faith in the kid" said an excited Lint. "Williams was a high first round grade for us, he features three plus pitches and is developing a fourth. We expect him to fast tract to the bigs if he can just get his control straightened out."
Lint said that the Kodiaks were most likely done in any draft day dealings, "I'm happy with the talent we've selected so far in this draft, I feel like we picked up two first round talents in round two giving us excellent value. We're satisfied beyond belief with how this draft has played out."
