Not wishing it happens, but lets face it, Virginia seems to have a major injury to a 1-2 key players every year. Now that I think about it, you might want to fire your doctor, btw.
It's the same thing that happens to every team in the BLB...it's just Clay is the first to let you know about it.
I would never wish injuries on another player. You can both 'suck it in!'

6-1 sim. Team is on cruise control. Also signed Max "Lizard" Oliver to a 1-year league minimum contract. Oliver, who I traded for last deadline, is a solid middle reliever. Hopefully he can still throw like he did for me down the stretch.
3 - 3 sim. Attendance was average. Temperature was average. The food at the park is average. Care to guess who the post-game entertainment was?
Lost 3 more OFs to injury this week. But the worst news...My best hitting prospect went down with a torn meniscus. There's a draft pick I'll never get back.
For all the guys who ever taken a Ratings hit when we've changed versions of OOTP, I present Martin Carlton. My goodness... he was a really solid Closer... but he is an absolute KILLER SP since the conversion. Unreal.
It's almost unfair how good he is.
In his last six starts he has given up 1 ER...that's in 41.1 innings...
You might wanna get the memo to my players then. Every guy is batting under .200 this month, every pitcher has 7+ ERA. They've all taken a giant dump. The only thing that can save us is if they all decide to start playing to at least their career averages.
It's a shame that a rookie is the only one who gives a damn.
82 hits in 6 games. .335 avg. .500+ SLG. 4-2 sim. We're now 1 game under .500, but I'm still convinced we're a 65 win team.
Cannell had another unbelievable week. 29 ABs, .517 avg, 2 HR, 8 R. I guess he didn't win DL Player of the week since he won it last week, but outside of RBIs, I think that was clearly a better week than Briggs had. Cannell is extremely better than I ever thought he would be.
And Clay, Simmonds just made his big push. Cabezas was terrible this week.
