Sorry for the hiatus. Didn't have a computer for a couple of days. Its amazing, though. My fiancee and I had withdrawal symptoms without it. Glad to be back although Vista is getting on my nerves.
1. Simply Amazing:
(4-6) Columbus' receiver, Jimmy Mathis has caught 74 cat-1285, 10 TD's, 25-20+catches. He's set to have the best single-season receiving stats in history.
2. First for First:
For the first time this year, the (7-3) Enforcers are underdogs in Vegas. NLB heads to (6-4) Portland to face the Phantoms and are +1 dogs. The way they gave the game away against Chicago last week, I'd take that and a couple points more.
3. Chronicles of Riddick:
(5-5) Punxsutawney Phils linebacker, Riddick Melton has 94 tackles, 24 assists, 2 sacks and 6 forced fumbles. Makes you wonder about that punishing hitter stat, right?
4. He's Back.....
(9-1) Memphis must be very happy to have Heflin back and healthy again. Heflin is averaging 5.11 ypc and already has over 1200 yards through just 10 games. Can someone say MVP?
5. What a Soldier.
(5-5) Boston's Edgar Cote has been knocked down 46 times this year.
