WR Devan Graham is holding out, and wants an additional $24 million this year, so we need to clear some cap space. We're looking at potentially getting rid of some cornerstone players.
Could depart with:
RB Russell Acuna (60/60, 7th year)- 1000 yards rushing on 4.67 ypc and 9.62 yards per catch last season. Very talented all around RB.
DE Lorenzo Lofton (62/62, 10th year)- Consistently in the double digits in sacks, and helps generate pressure for other players to get sacks.
LB Nickolas Gerhardt (44/44, 7th year)- Great pass rusher and cover guy, enough endurance to play every play.
LB Ronald Spruce (54/54, 6th year)- 102 tackles and 5 sacks last year. 90 play diagnosis and it shows in his interception ability over his career.
I think any of this players are easily worth a 3rd round pick. Willing to negotiate. Clearing up cap space is now a must, so we may take less than we'd like. Make an offer, could be interested!
