    We select 17 year old RF Gustavo Gallardo. Best hitter on our board left.

    Thought we were going to go more pitching this draft but gotta take who's there. See what's left with out 2 3rd round picks.

    Really like the Wallace pick. Easily the best hitter available.

    With the 12th pick of round 2, Carolina selects SS Pat Wallace, from Texas. My scout thinks he'll be pretty good at the plate, he's put up some good numbers in college and is very good defensively at shortstop. I'm happy to get him at this point.

    If anyone's list is depleted or their not feeling it.... I'd really like to add more picks in the next 10-20 picks. I'll basically give you the rest of my draft Rounds 4-10 to get back into the 2nd/early 3rd.

    Took a guy who will probably bust, SS Bobby Corral. He can play all four IF positions at a nice level, and my scout, while calling him an "average hitter who will hit .270", has him at 5-6-4-5-7 and OSA likes him as well at 5-7-5-6-7.

    Passed on a couple guys I'm hoping will drop to 2.19, but that's probably just a pipe dream.
