Antonio is the epitome of versatility, able to play pretty much any position in the field. We like his ability to put the ball in play and he obviously has a bit of power with 16 dingers his sophomore year and 11 last year. Love that we were able to get him here.

The Wade Tull pick surprises me. Did not expect him to be a first round pick. Or second. Or third.
But, he throws hard and will strike out a lot of guys. The last few first round relievers taken in the draft were BLB-ready.

Went between Trujillo and Ramos at 1.9 but went with Ramos because I think he can play short, although Trujillo probably could too.

If Trujillo can field capably at a position other than 1B he will have been a steal there.Last edited by Delandis; 07-28-2011, 12:19 PM.

OSA hates him, I'm sure other scouts will too, but I have to trust my scout.
If he is for real he's 22 and should be able to help in a few years. If not. Well, that's drafting for you.
One thing OSA and my scout agree with is that the guy won't be striking out 100 times a year. He won't walk 100 times either, but he'll be above-average in the EYE department.
Third best non 1B infielder on my list behind Simmons and de Luna.
