If I make a contract extension offer to someone that is going into their last season of arbitration, does it cancel their arbitration contract if they don't accept it?

If they still have one more year of team control, they can turn down the extension and you still get the arb year. Team control is team control. They can't opt out of that. It's 100% up to you if you want to buy out that last year for an extension.Originally posted by umd View PostThe Great One!
