I think people are doing themselves a disservice with this whole "scouts ranking" thing. If you're having the scout generate a draft list and then just numbering the guys, you're not reading the lists correctly.

Well obviously you have a good track record, but based on his 19 starts and at least the ratings I'm seeing what makes you say he is ready now?

Oh for sure, was simply stating the lowest scout rated pick that had come off his board.

Its just not normally this spread out this early in the draft so its been interesting. Its been fun.

Even if you only take OSA... he's a low end 5's and 4's guy.

My point was not that he's GREAT... or a GREAT option.... my point was that (A) he's already developed enough to pitch on the BLB level (B) he already throws 4 pitches - a must to start at this level and (C) SOME teams could be starting a OSA 4-5 type guy. Hell... if I was still rolling 6 pitchers he could be a #6 on my team.

Just a bit of hyperbole. He's a AAA caliber pitcher right now. At 22, I'd be worried about his WE. He could easily be a AAAA kind of guy.

The histories for "internationals" are all screwed up. I think as older guys retire, their histories are somehow showing up on their old player number or something.

Pick is in. Scout likes Mitchell as a closer, but thinking we can try to develop that third pitch of his.

Wanted Bennerman more than Enriquez, but Norfleet really likes Enriquez and he was very right on Sau.
