Agreed. He hit extremely well when Denver played well the first month of the season. Then we started losing (before our very good June) and he took a nose dive.Originally posted by Clay View PostI agree with you. I think he's a bargain and will hit when playing enough on the right team. I think it was a smart play.
It's tough to lose when you're so used to winning cups.

I liked this guy too. Take that how you like.Originally posted by Spectre View PostReally like my Rule V pickup Donnie Sherman. He isn't ready but I think I can stash him in my bullpen this year. My scout has him at 6-3-7 potential as a starter. I just hope he's not too bad this year.

Well, needless to say, we're pretty disappointed about how this Rule V went. I'm 100% certain I made the necessary changes to get these guys on the 40 man, but obviously I realize I did something wrong when exporting because I trust a computer more than I trust my own brain. Oddly enough, other changes I'm fairly sure I made after my rule V adjustments went through though.
Shumway was a pick I really felt good about a few years back, and I'm sure he'll be serviceable some day, but he's not ready now IMO. I do like Larivee, who some douche picked, but I'm anxious to see how he fares in the majors. Copeland, there's no way he's ready. That's a total potential pick, which is fine. But, no way he belongs on a BLB roster right now.
Either way, I wish Markus would just make a game that automatically exported with every move...Charlotte Knights - OSFL
Syracuse Slammers - BLB
