The draft Internationals have always been stars. It's the random "joined the league guys" that have mostly sucked.

The game creates the first to fill up the 360 spots needed for the draft if the feeders don't. The later are just random players created at FA time.

Always wonder if getting rid of comp pick reduced our amount of Intl players in the draft?

Also I don't remember all these rule 5 guys . Did we protect them prior to lists before. Hard to make a list when almost anyone worth a damn will be pulled back this sim.

You can protect them in game before Sunday's sim.

You still submit a list though. Your right about some of these guys getting pulled.

The draft has always been set up for 10/15. Ten rounds, generate enough for 15. Fifteen times 24 (teams) is 360. The feeders though must be generating more though because the game only creates 15-30 players now. So due to the lower numbers we see less stars. The'll still appear though, just not as frequently. Plus '14 has gone more realistic with the draft. 1st round picks are no longer guaranteed for the most part.

We walk a fine line between Rule 5 chaos and satisfaction. I hated the days of "no imports" getting screwed. I'm not much of a fan of wading through multiple lists where everyone has been protected either, but I much prefer that to anarchy.

Probably, but the top 10 are still pretty dam good. I think it effects late 1st a lot more.
