Looking at bit at the races...

DL- looks like mortal combat for each division. Wildcard looking at bit less with just a few teams scrambling for the #2 wildcard. Things can change a bit, but seems the way its going.

IL- Ummm thats it for the division? Its over already? Wow. Wildcard looks like its gonna be crazy. I counted 6 teams in there (for 1 & 2).

        Thoughts?

This month has been awful for us. We can not hit. At all. Our bats are silent.

A 3-1 sim gets us a .5 up on Dallas. This is about the time we got hot last season so let's see where this takes us. Of course, I'm still looking to deal Danny Melgoza so that could change some things.

Ron Robertson with a third consecutive double digit K game. This time 8.1 innings of no run ball against Syracuse. I skipped Schief in the rotation in case he threw in the ASG and it looks like he didn't throw at all. Oh well. A full week off should be nice for him.

3-1. 57-35 on the season. FC how about you take your young players and you hit that rookie wall? Whenever you want to do that, that would be greeeeeeaaaaaaaatt....mmmkay?

                Still tied for first.

AJ's back and slides nicely behind Fudd/Rocha/Yoshi/Petrizzo.

Offense keeps clicking, in All-Star Liam Ingle's absence, Mauricio Salas comes in hot with a .412/.412/.765/1.176 OPS. He's to hitting .296/.317/.508/.825 for the year.

Shane Berry started off really slow, on May 1st he was batting .169 with a .520 OPS, but we stuck with him and have been rewarded with an .827 OPS in may, .826 OPS in June and a 1.634 OPS thus far in July, including 7 hits in his last 14 AB's. His season numbers are .275/.349/.425/.773 and considering where he started, it's been an unbelievable turn around, and we're thrilled with his production in his first full season as a starter in the BLB.

1st Round pick Dave 'Not as good of a prospect as Wille De Jesus or JR Santo or Tom Miller' Shook wins the player of the week ... hopefully his first of many. Peller continues to rake as well. Please with their production.

Big road week with a visit to Toronto to hang out with Spear and his Canadians, then another tough road series in New York.

Rotation is set, lineups are ready to go and as always...

                LET'S GO MILLERS!

                        And it wasn't even close.

Even had to have a RP start a game due to my All-Star SP having a sinus issue.

Probably from snorting too much Ketamine. It's popular in DC.

All that matters is that at 37 Herberholtz is back at #1 in the top players list. Barring injury he should be the all time strikeout leader in BLB history by the end of next season.

And and 4-0 sim for us. We like the warm weather.

Maybe he finally figures it out.

The NBA deadline was crazy. I can't keep track of half the league now.
