Everyone who hasn't checked the board since Andrew's "the draft is canceled" post earlier today also thinks the draft is canceled.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990
NEW ORLEANS DUKES since 1993

I think it's too late now that I've said we're not doing it tonight. I'd prefer a forum based draft, especially where we're not in any rush.Originally posted by HLewisonWell.....I hate to sound harsh, but tough titty. Everyone knows/knew the draft was happening tonight at 9:15 p.m. EST. If they aren't there than they get the highest OVR rated player on the board if they didn't send a big board in to you.

I'll go with team power rankings as the tie-breaker. Seems like it is fairly close to the overall standings anyway.Originally posted by AndrewThe game doesn't keep track of these that I can find. How about Power Rankings (lower team gets higher pick) or run differential?Originally posted by HLewisonTie-breakers should be divisional record then head-to-head and so on.

Woah! I knew I'd be late to the draft tonight, and had planned on organizing a big board for Andrew today. However, once he posted we weren't drafting, I scrapped that idea. I'm leaving for a softball doubleheader in 15 minutes, and probably won't return until 10pm EST.Originally posted by HLewisonWell.....I hate to sound harsh, but tough titty. Who knows, if not it's cool.

That's fine with me also, although the power rankings seem to like my team.Originally posted by HLewisonI'll go with team power rankings as the tie-breaker. You'd still pick ahead of the three teams below you with worse power rankings though. You'd only drop to the bottom of the other two 23-26 teams. I don't know what you're run differential is but I think you'd end up drafting close to where you would originally.Originally posted by SullyThat's fine with me also, although the power rankings seem to like my team.Originally posted by HLewisonI'll go with team power rankings as the tie-breaker. Yeah, it's no biggie to me. I figured I'd be drafting in the 7-10 range even if we did have a sim tonight.Originally posted by HLewisonYou'd still pick ahead of the three teams below you with worse power rankings though. I'm going to give people tonight to comment on this then probably create the thread tomorrow. Just so people are clear, the plan is to draft on the forums using the order I posted a few posts above and postpone any sims until the OOTP team can fix the issues with patch 2.Originally posted by SullyCreate the thread, and let's get this party started!
If anybody doesn't want to continue, please tell me now so we can find a replacement.
Here's a quick excel cheat sheet I made for people to cross off players when they get picked.

i'm good to go with the online draft, waiting for the patch, and continuing to be an owner, if that's okay with you guys (no comments from you whale). i would have been okay with starting over as well if that ever becomes the only option.
hey andrew. no offense taken......i still hate you though.
