Pawtucket wins its 5th DL Flag!!!!!

So SP McDade picked up the paper this morning and read he's actually a top pitcher!!! Finally got his head out of his ass and delivered a strong performance going 6.1 innings for 3 hits shutting down the Millers. The bullpen made it interesting, but got the job done. Of course SS Orlando "mr long ball?" Saucedo provided the power. Great series. Mike was right, coming back from 6-0 in the 8th & 9th in game 2 was probably the key game.

Now we hobble in facing Death Valley. We probably have the upper hand in pitching, but now we're down 3 hitters and its starting to takes its toll. Give the nod to Death Valley on that. Should be interesting.

I woke up and I'm back in the Brewmasters for the first time since my Hartford days. It's been a great run, good series Brad. We finally get past you and go heads up against a ridiculously good PAW. They're a machine. Not too many changes. Late season acquisition Dave D'Orio will see more at bats with the DH. Hopefully our starters continue to throw gems and our hitting maintains against that dominant staff and bullpen in PAW.
