We'll see ya in two years bud.
Shoulder injuries are harder to recover from?
It makes sense I guess based on pitching motion, but I didn't know that.

We look forward to welcoming him into the Wildcats organization.

Pat, I agree on the drop off. I really didn't want to take another pitcher, but I didn't like any of the position players at this point in the draft.
I thought Carrasco was the last SP with a chance to be a #1. He probably ends up a #2 but there is a lot to like. He's a winner who will make the players around him better.

Notifications are something you have to opt into (according to the utility you are not presently subscribed). The emails appear to be working, as I am receiving after each pick.

I'm VERY impressed with the first 11 picks.
Not in order, but that was the top 11 on my board and I feel like there is a clear drop off starting at #12 on my list. Still a lot of great potential players but the question marks are a bit more glaring.

Windy City makes Marco Carrasco our latest first round pitching prospect. We really like how developed he is for a 20 year old. We also really like his hitting ratings. He actually came in 3rd in voting for the Cape Cod Outstanding Hitter Award. A good all around player, who will hopefully continue to bolster the pitching in our minor league system.
