What happened with Oldford? You waived and DFAed him and the claim went through?Originally posted by mike View PostThis is super nitpicky but Walt Olford, a 19 year old who was NOT on the 40 man roster was placed on REVOCABLE waivers come cutdown day. He should not have been able to be claimed.

This is now twice that the DFA rules have been incorrect in the last month+ of real life. The first was Tommy Briggs, for shits sake he played a game for me yet somehow was eligible to be claimed on waivers and now I lose a 19 year old that I've kept my eye on for 2 seasons.

Clay would trade Alvarez to Carlos for two firsts and a prospect.Originally posted by funclown View PostI was referring to some of the drops from my scout recently. He's still only 32 ,but always been a theory that BLB innings tend to wear on players who started sooner rather then later. (aka- game played)
The injuries I'm sure hasn't helped. In this version any long injury, the pitcher seems to take a hit.
Wonder how Clay would of handled it??

2. What's weird is he hasn't lost any velocity at all. It gives me hope we haven't seen the last of Twinkle Toes.

For all the GM's rebuilding who had the money and didn't sign this kid and let UMD do it...great job!
