Agree but.....I see a TON of first round talent. I believe more in the top 5 versus the top 15 IMO.PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS

Digging into the draft. It's loaded. And Sully, my scout sees that catcher the same way.
Plenty more I need to look at, but while I agree with the advice on not trading down, if anyone in the top 5-8 picks is interested, I'd listen to offers.Charlotte Knights - OSFL

Paul-
For what it's worth, I realize Z and Matt are trying to "protect"(?) you from a bad deal in trading down. But for what it's worth, I traded out of the first round in 2013 for a future 1st in 2014. That turned into the 5th pick. I then traded up to the third pick and got Jamie O'Hearn.
If there's a deal on the table that makes most sense for you, don't let the doomsday crowd control how you run your team. Do you.

You maneuvered well there, but that's not the kind of deal Matt and I are discussing.Originally posted by mike View PostPaul-

Trading your first round pick for a future pick you think could be higher than your current pick (as you did) is quite different from trading down to get two late firsts or a late first and an early second, as Paul suggested doing.Originally posted by PaulC View PostWhen the time comes... I'm also open to trading down from 12 for two late firsts or a late first and early second when the time comes.Maine Guides

Utility is up....but draft picks haven't been entered....nor do I know if it's safe to add players to draft lists.

I made all rounds equal to Round 9 where there weren't any trades. I believe this is the correct order. A double check by someone would be appreciated though. I will enter the traded picks tonight/tomorrow when I get some time.Originally posted by Pat View PostUtility is up....but draft picks haven't been entered....nor do I know if it's safe to add players to draft lists.

You are free to start filling up your draft lists. Only though if your AAA, AA, and A rosters are down to the minimum and you don't have anyone 24 years of age or older in A.

The draft used to be our super bowl when we were rebuilding. Now it's not even a thought! But I am looking forward to picking again in a couple seasons.
