Dave Balloun is off to a hot start in his BLB career

He went deep in his 2nd game against Pawtucket and is hitting .375 so far. He won't keep it up but it feels good nonetheless.

Well....I think we'll be done soon. ANOTHER starter done for the year. Kirby out for 8 freaking months. OMG. I don't think we'll hold on to the division as our offense has been underperfoming all year. Now this.

Except for Samarano who hit for the cycle and is tearing it up. Last chance to make your move for Samarano!

Gremades' power numbers have gone way up this year. Had 21 all of last year, currently sitting at 19.

          Is nice.

Jistic you don't have to worry... I don't think Carolina or the Wildfire catch you this year...

We sucked this week, although O'Rogan did pitch well enough stats wise... just no wins to show for it.

Hopefully we'll just be able to re-tool through free agency and continue to improve as a team.

thanks! however, the game seems destined to screw things up for me somehow. a fresh injury (or two) every single sim. this last one to my star OF. i know that it "might" be realistic...and i know i'm not the only one...but i'm going to continue to gripe. this just seems ridiculous. i guess my depth is making up for it, but it's still annoying. okay, i'm done.......for this sim.

Wow, a 5-1 week, including a sweep at Wilmington. Always nice to catch a team without their best player, but I'm pretty sure this was our best week of the season so far. Probably still too little too late, because we haven't shown the ability to do this consistently.

So Wilmington decides to go 1-5. After going 20-5 in June, they are currently 9-14 in July, and their best offensive player is still out for this next sim. The Washington Bats are only 6 games back now, and if Wilmington continues to struggle with Campoveroe out, the lead could even be smaller.

Oh, and the first sim of the August....Wilmington hosts Washington.

                      Keep your fingers crossed.

At worst, you'll be playing meaningful games in September :)
