Yep, one game short. We just weren't a playoff caliber team all season, so not surprising. Now we have to figure out how to keep this team competitive, since I don't see any way I can keep Latham. My minors need some work too.

Ugh...Manny Hernandez's potential stats took a HUGE hit...fell from 25th on the top 100 to off completely.

Why does pitching hate me :-(.

won out my last 3 games vs. Indy. I can't wait till next season. I think I'll have to make some moves in FA to make my team a competitive hitting team.

I think Keppel sealed the Stout Slugger in the DL.
Dan Jones came on STRONG after the AS break.
Rumsey has got one more quality year left.
Bullpen was a sore spot for me this year. I need quality arms to fill that out.
I think I need one slugger and one solid OBP guy in my lineup for next year.

I can't wait till the offseason and next year.

Well we pretty much limped in backwards, but we'll take it. How many times have we had a 100+ win team in this division NOT make the playoffs?

Either way we're in, and maybe we'll get lucky. I need our big 3 to pitch legendary in the playoffs. The odds are against us, but you never know. We'll get a starting OF back this week which should help, he's been out since Spring. Ironic that his first game of the season will be playoffs.

Guess you know who's pushing for a Wildcard now, huh.

Also, can I play Sin City more often next season?
