    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Excited to bring Ron Robertson back to Vegas. He was excellent in his first stint in 2015 and 2016. He'll slot as our #1 starter. That makes lefty Aiden Gay available for best mid offer.

Still trying to move Garnett ASAP. I'll offer a 2nd, 3rd and a swap of 10th rounders. He still has some baseball left playing for one last contract and can still play defense.

Some of these other vet deals are pretty pricey... that was an interesting FA week...

Seattle signs superstar OF Ricky Murillo and former Pilot SP/RP Edwin Guerrero. Our off-season is now complete...maybe.

        Can't wait for opening day!

Surprised Arbini took my 1 year offer, he wanted 6. He'll help my lineup against lefties.

              Signed a reliever / 6th starter. It's not a big move, but hopefully he'll be a help.

Tom Roseboom is now listed as the #12 player in the league, so that's good.

I paid up but got an extension done for Ron Osborn- giving him a lot of money in Year 1 but it comes back to what would be expected in the years afterward. My owner gave me a sizable boost to my budget for the coming years which will be very helpful in the coming years.

After last year's defensive debacle in Game 2 of the IL Wildcard we've decided to big on infield defense this year.

I'm very happy to have signed Lara. I believe we signed him for 13MM per last year so to get his ability behind the plate at just 3MM per is so awesome. Add to the fact that he's still a nationally popular player, we will be doing all that we can to keep the veteran healthy. He should be able to contribute a lot to this squad.

I'm also pretty happy to pick up Geoff Perritt from Batavia. He's not the greatest hitter, but his ability to field 2B and SS at such a high level made this an easy decision.

We still are looking to make a couple more deal that could strengthen our team a little more so don't hesitate to let us know what you have available for trade.

I saw Lara's price and I really wanted to grab him but I have a young lefty I like as a backup. Always loved the guy. Got to be my best 5th round pick.

Good get and that price. The Stout is going to be insane this year.

Good deal on Lara- this year I needed to call up young Jamie Watson from AAA after a .300 campaign down on the farm last year. He's a top 100 prospect and will get a chance to take the starting role from Bai who has been mediocre the last few years. Watson fits the, for MLB equivalent, Paul LoDuca role of a guy who hits for contact and doesn't strike out without a ton of walks.

All in all, the offense should be better this year with another year of Jimmy Norman maturing. I fully expect more consistent play from guys who disappointed massively last year like Jamie Bryce and Omar Baber as well. I'll have some solid guys that will be making the shuttle from Long Island to New York.

Probably should have made a run at Lara for that price. Shit.

Maddening player. Great defensive OF and productive in spurts with the bat, but my God the strikeouts. 1 year deal is a good get.

The journeyman Antonio Medina comes back to the DL, toping 95 mph with his fastball, Medina will be seen as a Veteran MR who will bring leadership and work habits to the locker room. Letīs see if he holds on a couple of seasons while Crowder is developing...
