    Reminder

    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Something tells me Maine won't have the worst pitching in the league by over 50 runs.

We had the best or second best pitching in the Domestic League last year. Not sure what's going on there.

Seattle adds Tom Padgett for $1.5M.

Surprised he was still available this late. The switch-hitter had a 2.0 WAR in just 87 games last year. More of a depth/insurance piece but excited to bring him in.

We'll go into the season ready to go. We should be better offensively this year. Hopefully we can play more consistently throughout the whole season.

On another note, (and not a dig towards anyone as I've shopped him around A LOT) looks like LaRossa will be playing in Baltimore this year. I've been trying to move him big time but no bites. The man is 7th in WAR among 3rd basemen since his rookie year and is a beast on the basepaths. Sure he can't play 3B very well but dammit, I'm really surprised that a DL team wouldn't want to add his skill set to their roster.

If he could field and you didn't worry about me utilizing him as a super utility guy to beat you in the standings, I would have called you and discussed.

Not ingame right now. Can someone tell me if we got a new scouting report?? Its about the only to do in Pawtucket for a few years.

Otherwise we are going have 36-38 players up for spring. When you suck this is what you do, give kids some practice. Also will have two of our top 100 pitchers up this spring, but most likely won't keep either of them up to start the season. June draft is they're time.

                            Its all about timelines now.

Frank Hamlet thinks Gil Banda is our third best player.

That's either a knock on my team or a real plus for Gil Banda and our future in centerfield. Maybe Banda makes the show this season. Either way, it looks like 2022 is very possible for him if the scout is right. I can see him playing all three levels this season barring any injuries.
