2-4 despite good starting pitching...need offensive help pls

On a positive note, 13 of the 15 outs Marco Rosaro has recorded have been strikeouts.

A 4-3 start for the Brawlers. Won the first 4 and then lost the last 3. Swept a 3 game series from Seattle and took the first of a 4 game series from Windy City, the city that blows, and than lost 3 straight. Rookie Jamie Hayden was player of the week.

Man...the IL went to extremes in week 1. Can't say Philly or Seattle stunned me, but Death Valley also??? Crazy.

Pawtucket 2-4. WE ARE RIGHT THERE FIGHTING FOR IT BOYS.

We gave up 5 runs this week. Very good week for my pitchers.

Unfortunately the offense wasn't quite as good and we did lose two games, both by one-run. Looks like another season where you just don't want to play Batavia in a close game.

But, 4-2 on the road is fine with me. We ease our way into the season with only 2 off days this coming week, and all 5 games at home. Hopefully we can get off to a good start - it usually takes a few months for my team to play well.

2 rings in my firsts 9 seasons as a Gm... Match that, if you can...

Plenty time to right the ship, or tank as MOR, PAW, CAL and TOR taught us...

We always start slow, no concerns so far...

We had scoreless innings droughts of: 11 to start the season, and then 25 thereafter. Think about that. We scored 1 run in the first 37 innings we batted in.

Second year in a row we started out 0fer in the first SIM.
