Damn... I was proud of going from tanking to #2 in the rankings... We just have zero power... We can hit and get on base... We just have a horrible time driving in runners with any extra base power... And guys on third less than two out is a killer for the Kodiaks... Good news is the bullpen has been great, we've been getting just enough hitting, starting pitching is doing just enough, and hopefully we can continue to play 0.500 or better each week.

So.....I've never actually used a vesting option.

So if a player asks for a 490 PA "vesting option" for the 3rd year of a 3 year contract, how does that actually work? Do they need to get to 490 PA in year 2 to get year 3?
