I love the fit in Baltimore.
He's got a lot of development left (according to my scout) and he is going to be one of the worst fielding 1B in baseball but if you get the ball rolling now, maybe we will have the DH in the IL by the time he is ready.
He's only 16 and pretty athletic. He may surprise us defensively with some actual playing time on the field. But if he doesn't improve, we could probably overlook that aspect if he's hitting 40+ HR and stealing 15-20 bags in 2027.

WTF?
That is hilarious.
Right up there with the Cleveland tourism promo's.
I'm a huge fan of Damours. I think he could be the next Dunn.Originally posted by Delandis View Post

Thanks. I'm hoping for FF with speed, but Dunn will suffice.Originally posted by Hank View Post

Good selections on the pitchers especially Dunn and Wade. I wasn't a big fan of the middle IFs mostly because they all look the same to my scout. I actually think I could convert Tibbs to SS and I may have if I had landed Lyon.
This is an interesting draft so far - pretty much chalk with more guys I like going higher instead of dropping.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

To me the draft is too much fun to not hang onto as many picks as possible. I think you can usually get a better player value for trading a pick but it's a lot of fun to be involved during the draft.Originally posted by TheLetterZ View PostWatching the first three rounds of the draft without picking while sitting here in last place doesn't feel great.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Thats kind of interesting as I wasn't a huge fan of the pitchers with the exception of Witte and your kid. 3B and SS have seemed solid. Even a few catchers I'm a bit shocked haven't been picked. The pitchers left all had huge question marks and again today pitchers seem to bomb more then before.Originally posted by umd View PostGood selections on the pitchers especially Dunn and Wade. There are some interesting C/1B/corner OF the problem is they all look the same nowadays with contact-gap-power it seems 4-5-6/5-5-7 with the 5 most likely a true 4 or everything settling at 5-5-5-5-5 or something.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)
