2024 Regular Season SIM 7 Complete - Next SIM Tuesday 11/28
Wow, a 5-1 week for the Brawlers. Not sure where it came from or how long before it happens again but I'll take it. Ernest Ritchie finally fell from the lofty over .400 batting average but still hanging in a .388. That will drop some more but it has been a early season surprise. Got a guy at AAA that might be a better hitter than both my guys at the ML level. Going to let him develop for the rest of the season and see if he can develop a tad bit more.
Just wow... 5-1 on the road including a sweep over KC... The crashing is inminent... In the mean time has anyone got a middle of the pack starting LHP that can spare of??
Miami Sharks (BLB) * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
Another 5-1 week for the Bats and our longest homestand of the season ends at 10-2. Extended our division lead, jumped to first in the Power Rankings.
As Pat mentioned, things are going pretty well for the Bats right now. Our pitching has been as good as I hoped it would, while the lineup has done well so far. We got Dave Blackmon back from his injury this sim and he had a pretty good week. Yonke had his best week of the season so hopefully he's going to find his groove. Alexis Moran continues to look like a New Brew candidate. Hopefully we can keep this up.

You've got my vote, do we still vote?, on GM of the year.
Moran playing like the New Brew, Baber hitting well outside of NY, Dave Hall as a RP, Calligan back cheap and throwing non-1B in at 1B seems to be paying off. While Jimmy Douglas is getting paid about $1M per run.
Wilmington Wildcats- 2057- Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041 Washington Bats - 1979-2013
We don't vote, but thanks. Ha. It's worked so far. I didn't expect Douglas to fall off like he has so far (not sure that lasts) and Seibert has been awesome and will probably kill me in the playoffs. But, with 3 new starters in the infield (Turnbow is also gone), I'm happy with how it's worked out through 1/4 of the year. Still a long way to go.

I've been saying for years that liquidcrash is quietly the best GM in the league.
