Ramirez was the second best offensive player according to my scout. I like the pick for Los Lunas. I went with who I had as the top pitcher according to my scout, Ignado Sanchez. My scout highly favors tools, has an 80 for scouting amateurs, and he has Sanchez at 8-7-8. If he develops into a 6-5-5 type of pitcher, we'd be elated.

I agree with Linty's assessment of Ramirez. I too had him as potentially the best hitter in the draft class but would have passed on him anywhere in the top 10 due to intangibles.

The utility autopicked. He didn't leave a list.

Yup, I had Ramirez number two offensively, but would've taken at least one other offensive player over him had I gone that route.

When my scout said that Ramirez may be too lazy to ever be a good fielder, I got gun shy... I assume that would also apply to never reaching his potential as a hitter either.

The newest version does pick reasonably well. It starts with the real ratings and then "fuzzies" them to simulate the effects of scouting. Probably a little too accurate for my liking but much better than having to go into the game and have a team's head scout pick every time.

It doesn't automatically pick for you if you change the setting and you're on the clock. Are you going to pick, or should I just use your list?

Good progress today despite the issues. Looks like a few people are online so we might see a few picks. FYI, Hartford is out of the country so it should autopick for him.

Morgantown was on for like an hour straight and then signed off right when it was his pick...dang.

Williamson is one of the guys I had as the top starting pitchers in the draft along with Herrera. If he had lasted until my pick at 1 (20), I would have been afraid to pick him based on Linty's draft theory. I'm almost relieved to see him go.

I hope by this you mean auto-draft using draft list and that you included enough players on the list to get you through a couple of rounds. If the utility is set to just auto-draft, doesn't it just make kind of random picks?

I had originally intended to create a list and have the utility auto-draft from that list. But the utility doesn't show me any player ratings. (I have to click on a player link to see the ratings.) The sorting feature also isn't working correctly. So I guess I have to let the utility make my decisions for me.

Or is there some way to copy my in-game draft list to the utility?
