OK, so for anyone that had their scout make a list, does it make any sense? For instance, my scouts list has a guy he thinks should've been picked second in the draft with pitching potential of 4-4-4. Theres more than just that one guy though. He's got guys throughout the first round that I would'nt have picked until the 10th or so. However, it fits with what others are seeing by their scouts.
Just curious to see what others are seeing.

Thats what I was thinking. I was hesitant to mention it as I didnt want to bring something up that may cloud this whole 'new scouting' thing up further.Originally posted by Clay View PostNo, they don't make much sense... which leads me to believe that that functions takes into accounts more than just scouted ratings.

I actually have seen very little of that. Most of the guys that my scout has been high on have had potentials that I would consider on par with where they are rated. I don't know about the guys that had already been selected however as I removed them for the list without taking a look.BLB

I noticed a bit of this as well. Also, some guys who have a 5 in power are "Unreal talents" etc. in the power section, and others who are 5's "have below average power". I understand the point spread of what a 5 represents, but it seems to be pretty heavily varied. I'm wondering if they mean anything or they're just random comments based upon a range.

Sounds like you're the perfect candidate for the job!Originally posted by Riverman View PostI think what this league needs to avoid these excruciating delays is an assistant to the co-commissioner to take charge of the draft.

Dude, that pretty much describes me right now, except for the student part.Originally posted by Riverman View PostI think what this league needs to avoid these excruciating delays is an assistant to the co-commissioner to take charge of the draft.
