I'm not even in his playoff picture. He thinks that not only is Gremades a POS, but my whole team is.

See, this is another reason why I don't appreciate shots to my team. If you were a forum lurker not in the league, you'd think my team sucks by the way people talk about it. Nobody would have an idea that I've won 103 and 99 games in the last 2 years. Apparently Buzzell and Gremades are mediocre, Abe is a second rate pitcher, and Haydon was the worst 1st round pick in league history. I don't get why my team is degraded all the time.

(B) I factored in the lost of a perennial "Last Call" honoree in Lewis as a big deal in a league that relies heavy on the bullpen

(C) I believe I made those picks before you got Sato and O'Connelen

(D) I don't bet against our seedy Commish

(E) I like Indy

I guarantee you are living in a completely different world than the rest of us and you should do what you need to do to change that. It is not in your best interest to stay there.

If it makes you feel better... now that Frank Hamlet is coming to the IL, Gremades moves up to 4th.

You forgot to add that all pronosticators like to throw in an eccentric pick now and then. If it goes worng, you can just figure everyone will have forgotten by the time it happens so no harm. But if you get it right, you can brag about it for years - "remember the time I picked Indy to win the WC, when everyone else in the league thought Maine and Pittsburgh were hot stuff?"

Out here in SF every year one or more of the writers make a simply perposterous pick. I mean I am talking the Cards over the G Men with the game in New York level of dumbness. If it doesn't happen, not another word about it. But on the rare occassion of an upset, these guys will go on literally for years about how smart they are using that idiotic pick as evidence.

Please, please understand that when Clay says this, that he's actually talking about me. He's that big of a fan. Of me. I'm sure it's a personal thing.

He could do without the fact that we're the Clowns. Sure, it gives him ample opportunity to make jokes about clown things. But, truth be told I use a lot of what Clay says about my Clowns to cry myself to sleep at night. Clay is like my scotch on a cold winter's night.

Just some advice for anyone out there that may need it.
