I think you have to include Joe Ponte in the IL discussion. That one will go down to the wire.Originally posted by SullyI was thinking about this last night. I think I'd put Dean first, with Rumsey a very close second. They could easily flip-flop. In the IL, it was LaRochelle a month ago, but now I'd give the nod to McEvoy. 24 wins? Wow.

Honestly, even I'd put Dean 1st :)Originally posted by SullyI was thinking about this last night. I think I'd put Dean first, with Rumsey a very close second. They could easily flip-flop. In the IL, it was LaRochelle a month ago, but now I'd give the nod to McEvoy. 24 wins? Wow.
But it'll come down to Dean, Guardamagni, and Rumsey.

It comes down to Ponte, LaRochelle, and McEvoy. Even with the bloated contract, Lacour has pitched his ass off this year too.Originally posted by AndrewI think you have to include Joe Ponte in the IL discussion. McEvoy simply doesn't let people get on base. His avg against his Obscene K to walk ratio gets it done. He's got about 3 starts left. I hope he can get 27 wins to set the bar.Originally posted by AndrewI think you have to include Joe Ponte in the IL discussion. I think with a good couple weeks, Guardamagni could take it. Of course, i'm bias. He is in the top 3 in 6 different categories. I think he's had the best "overall" year! Not to mention that he's only lost 4 games, less than Dean and Rumsey.Originally posted by rubisco43Honestly, even I'd put Dean 1st :)Originally posted by SullyI was thinking about this last night. After looking closer at their numbers, at this point, I'd probably rank them:Originally posted by robster1225I think with a good couple weeks, Guardamagni could take it. Of course, i'm bias. Rumsey
Guardamagni
Dean
Guardamagni needs to close the gap on wins. Reaching 20 would really help his case.
