5-1 week for the Bats and we've locked up our spot in the playoffs. We can lock up the division in this next sim, so things are going well.

Our pitching continues to be fantastic, giving up just 6 earned runs all week. We've got a 2.24 ERA since August 1st, going 31-9 in that time period. We lead the IL in most pitching categories, and hopefully that will keep up when the postseason gets here. My only big concern is Fenton Soto, who's been blowing saves at an alarming rate lately.

At the plate, we were carried by Dave Davidson, Rory Smith and Bert Garza. We're still not as consistent at the plate as I'd like, but we've definitely been better than we were for the first couple months of the season.

One new rookie got his first BLB action this week.: C Tony Rivera, who I got in the minor league dispersal draft from Davenport. He went 1/3 with a walk and a run scored. My
