    We kept up our good play - another 5-1 week for the Bats. We've now clinched the Stout Division title and lead Seattle by 5 games to the #1 seed in the IL playoffs. We're also closing in on 100 wins and hopefully we'll get that done. Ever since Manny Ochoa took over as manager, we've gone 54-20. Whether that was the cause of it or not, our season has been great since that happened.

    This was perhaps our best week at the plate all season, that I can remember. We scored 45 runs in the 6 games, with a team OPS of 1.000. We hit 15 homers, including 5 by Josh Allen and 4 by Ron Thornton. Those 2 haven't had great seasons, but it'd be a really good time to get hot.

    We've only got 3 more home games left this season and we'll host California to start this next week. We then close the season on a 10-game road trip, but thankfully there's not a lot on the line for us anymore. We haven't been very good on the road.

        Doubt it. Seeds #5 & #6 looks really sad this season in the IL.

          The IL is deeper than the DL.

            Was at a wedding and couldn’t export. Maybe I should stick with this approach.

              Deeper at losing?

              Brew Cup

              DL = 14
              IL = 5

              Last 19 seasons.

              All seriousness IL past 4+ seasons is Seattle/ Washington and some random third team to round out the top 3. Rest is generally cannon fodder.

                  I know and agree, but I'll stand by your have 3 really good teams a fairly solid 4th team followed by a ton of knuckleheads.

                    The league is better when Baltimore is good.
