Losing 2 of 3 to lowly Toronto probably sealed Pawtucket's fate for the postseason.

Still, we can have a winning season. Not a bad accomplishment with this group.

Now we’re cooking with gas

Seattle goes 4-2 to increase the Bock lead to five games with seven left to play. It was actually the Pilots first winning sim since August 17th. We did have two injuries to RP Pat Reeves (9 months, possibly the end of his Seattle career) and SP Joey Seymour (two weeks). Likely to still go near full strength as I wouldn't put it past Los Angeles to go 7-0 and Seattle to have another losing sim. We are trending in the wrong direction... Winning percentage by month: .652, .643, .630, .600, .571 and .500 in September. Injuries and age have made us a much different team in the 2nd half. The roster is still deep enough that we have a chance to make the ILCS and lose to Washington (Year of the Bats!) but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we lose the division this final week and get beat by whomever makes the final IL WC.

Down in rookie ball the Seattle affiliate Cleveland won their 3rd straight championship. In the final two games 1B Ian O'Neal went 5/7 with 3 2B, 6 RBI and 2 R against his former club.
