Thanks, Brad (and Matt for the sims prior to the Brew). And thanks for the congrats, everyone.

The Year of the Bats finally happened. Well, since I took over here. Hartford is a really good team and I really didn't like my chances after we went down 3-2, but our pitching came through in a big way. Stokes and Theisen were both brilliant to close it out. Really, outside of Arballo running out of gas in game 5, my starters were great all postseason. For the lineup, I moved Rory Smith up to the leadoff spot and Josh Allen down to #3 and both responded with big games in 6 and 7. Smith had a big series and won MVP. As Hartford did all series, they made it very interesting in the 9th inning of Game 6. My bullpen was in full meltdown mode before we thankfully finished the game on a long fly ball that only made it to the track with the bases loaded. We very nearly had a crushing walkoff loss. Thankfully Game 7 didn't get that interesting after we broke it open.

We head to the offseason with plenty of decisions to make in DC, but we should return the vast majority of this team for another shot at it.

              Congrats Liquid on the title.

It seemed like only yesterday you had the Top Minor League System in Carolina destined for championships before you decided to leave us. Is this #2 for you?

Also congrats to Bdub for taking Hartford to the Brewmasters again. Built a really good team in Hartford.

Yes, I won in 1981 with Carolina. So, 51 seasons ago in-game. About 12 real life years. Hard to believe we've been here that long.

Damn it's been 54 seasons since Denver won a championship?
