    Thanks Brad!

The Pilots lost the first series in Windy City (1-2) then won the second hosting Carolina (3-1), keeping Seattle one game back of California in the Bock. Going 15-9 in July in large part thanks to....Manny Nieto won batter of the month after hitting .386/1.486 with 11 HRs in 19 games. He won't keep it up (.211/.831 in August) but it was a nice nostalgia trip to his Pilots career from eight years ago.

The auditions continue in the rotation with RP Sonny Wilson making his 1st start of the season (5 IP, H, R, 3 K, 1-3 L), veteran Ruben Castillo making his season debut in the BLB (3.1 IP, 7 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 14-11 W), and old man JP May getting his first since June (3.1 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 3-6 L). Danny Ley will be sent to Triple-A for a brief rehab stint and former Kodiak/Canadian SP Tommy Campbell will make his BLB debut this week after posting a 1.38 ERA in Double-A and 1.91 ERA in Triple-A.
