Going from a 5 to a 4 or a 6 to a 5 really isn't that big of a deal. Remember, we only have our scouting at single digits. He could of gone from a 51 to a 49. Not a huge deal.

Could also just be your scout getting a better look at him as the year goes on.

Our magic number currently sits at three, with Pittsburgh and Dallas coming to town next sim. Hopefully we can finish it up for our first trip to the postseason.

We've had so many near-misses that I'll take a playoff spot any way I get it. We got some good fortune this year with every other team in our division being hit by major injuries or just rebuilding, but my team is still pretty good.

I agree, I don't see my team winning it all, but we've still got some pretty good pitching and decent hitting, so maybe we can surprise people.

2 - 4. My "best" (highest rated) pitchers are dropping the ball...onto the opponents' bats. My "weaker" guys are keeping me afloat.

AAA call-up Anton Estalilla managed to earn a win against Pitt. Nice. Unfortunately, MR Closson has all of a sudden lost his touch. He cost me a game in the bottom of the 11th against Denver.

And freakin' Gremades...two-out double in the 7th was just enough to drop the rubber match to JJ's gang.

AI seemed to leave a SP in too long late in the game, so I checked my strategy settings, and was horrified by what I saw. Somehow the strategy settings were changed so that my pitchers (starters and relief) would never be hooked. Anyone else notice anything similar?

Hell yeah... 4 games head to head to close the season makes it even sweeter. This race and the Stout could come down to those last 4 games... but you need to make hay on this sim.
