  • And the worst value in the BLB is....

Baltimore SS Amato Albors. After a solid 1978 season in which he hit .263 with 40 doubles, he dropped down to .235 last season with only 26 doubles and 13 HR.

This year, Amato is off to a blazing .172/.241/.234 start over his first 35 games.

All for the low, low price of $11,957,000.

    At least he's fielding well....

Hey... try paying for the sins of the past administration...

Gualterio 'Iguana' Campa (C) working a lovely .180/.280/.241. He's about to go back to the bench (where he started the season), but I keep hoping he'll return to his '78 All-Star form and earn his $13,816,000!!

He is 40 years old. He will retire when the year is over I'm sure, and if not his contract is expiring. While Skerik's guy is on the books for years.

              Yep...I can feel that pain.

I have a contender for this one.

              Buster Townsley: .176/.303/.269 w/ 6 XBH and 25Ks
Priced at: $13,617265...rising to $14,495,798 next season.

I keep hoping that he'll snap out of it...he is consistently my highest rated batter according to my scouts.

I figure he is losing a bit at 37, but geez.

Wow, I used to feel sorry for myself over Vesades whom I was paying something like $3.4 million for .215/.250/.272. This thread has made me realize how blessed I've been. I must be living right or something.
