Just in case I thought I was any closer to understanding this game...I swept Dallas (83 - 72) and then was swept by Sin City (68 - 87). I nominate the Furry Pigs for this year's Jeckle & Hyde Award.

Well we didn't completely blow it, nor did we win it. Still 3 games up on Dallas, and 5 behind Maine. I think the Ale is locked up, but the Wild Card should come down to the wire. Little worried about the 4 games against Maine on the road to end the season. Really wish I had my #2, 4, and 5 pitchers back. Called for a game win by Dallas at the end, and I would say that's very feasible. However even a 3-4 week would force Dallas to go 6-1 to force a one-game playoff. Good luck!

- Bayer had 1 save, 3 IP, 0 HA - leads the league in reliever ERA, H/9, HR/9, Opponents AVG and is second in WHIP and baserunners per 9 innings...yeah he's a stud
- SP Herrera won AA Pitcher of the Year
- 2B Garcia won AA Gold Glove at 2B
- 3B Post won A Hitter of the Year

Bad

- We hit .197 for the week...really? 51 K's, 14 BB's. Is there any hope for this team?
- SP Stephens had another meltdown, 5 IP, 6 ER, 1 punched water cooler
- We give up 2 in the 8th to lose to Carolina 2-1, we give up 2 in the 8th to lose to Philly 2-1.
- In all 3 games against Philly we scored 1 run each game.

another 5-1 sim and i slipped a spot in the draft (you're welcome muckdogs). offense is on fire in september. some more quality starts from my younger pitchers which makes me hopeful for my 3-4-5 spots in the rotation next year.
