Well, the game doesn't come out until March 23rd which is roughly six weeks from now. Four sims a week puts us at six months (game time) give or take. We should already be into the '81 season by then, right?

We'd be in the offseason. I'd love to be able to switch to 07 after the 1980 season, but I'm taking a wait and see approach right now. My opinion is that it's already ahead of 2006 in terms of stability and polish right now, but there's always the chance of new bugs being introduced. The financial system has undergone some changes (mostly merchandising revenue) so that still has to get sorted out.Originally posted by HLewisonWell, the game doesn't come out until March 23rd which is roughly six weeks from now. I think we'll in the playoffs when 2007 comes out. We'll probably then do the offseason, up until January 1st with 2006 and then make a decision since people will have had some time with the game by then. If a patch is imminent at that point, I'm not opposed to taking a week or so off in order to make the switch before we start 1981.
We'll see how things go!
