My players shut me out entirely. In fact I think they got exactly what they were asking for, so there wasn't even any middle ground from what I offered.

I got owned in arbitration- I lowballed all of my players :) Got burned badly on one player- for a cash strapped team, its not helpful.

Yeah, you can't do that in X. Lowballing don't work! You can win cases though, usually the "ask" is a bit high.

EDIT: I was 9/9 in Arby cases. :)

It seems like the default offers that show up on the arbitration screen are the "expected" amount, not the amount that the player is asking. I left the defaults for all of my arbitration eligible players and the arbitrator ruled in favor of the team in every case.

I also think there is no middle ground. The arbitrator chooses either the player's or team's number so if you lowball too much you'll get stuck paying whatever the player asks for.

It's what I originally planned but my schedule is packed tomorrow so the thursday sim will be friday. I'll update the schedule when I get a chance.

Had you downloaded the file from Wednesday? If not, you'll need to download this one manually to get the correct FTP settings.

I did yes. I checked the settings and they seem to all be in there correctly. Says 'cannot open connection to FTP server'. Can I still d/l this file manually? I can always see if it works next time.

Strange. Yes, you can d/l manually.

I'm having issues where it says "New file not available on the server." I've had to manually download the last two files- not a huge issue but definitely different from 9.
