I only wish that I had as good of a grasp on this game last year as I do now. If I still had Jones and Drewery, I'd more than likely be well out in front, with 3 of the top 5 pitchers in the league. Ahh, the pains of being slow...

Is it too late to make suggestions for changes to the next edition of this game? I think we need to add a rule allowing us to instruct our pitchers to throw bean balls at players we don't like. With the other four of us in the division firing away at his best players, we should have a fighting chance. As far as I can see that is the only way we are going to beat this guy.

A rule allowing us to instigate brawls at the slightest provocation would be good too.

Well, that's one piece of good news; maybe you won't win all of the rest of your games now. I suspect you will miss him about as much as you have Hoover and Cobellan though.

Well we put things together a bit. Took a 2 game series from Virginia. Unfortunately we were then swept in 3 by Baltimore, losing each of the 3 games by 1 run.
