  • Statistical Era

    One of the great things about OOTP is that it lets you heavily influence the type of statistics you see. You can pick from the different era's of baseball or edit the stats manually to get the desired results.

    Please let me know if you guys have any preference on these settings, or what era would make it the most interesting.

    I always kind of preferred the 50's-60's. It had the best of everything in my opinion.

      Yah I like that era as well. I'm actually using 1961 stats as a template for my current solo league that has players appear in random years from 1901-2004. Ted Williams is a rookie in 1901, Dimaggio in the 80's, etc.

        Doesn't matter much to me. Most era's are pretty similar anyway after the 1920's. And of coure 1999-Present. HR's are at an all time high....but so are strikeouts. I'd be fine with anything from 50's through mid 90's.

          I'd prefer 1970s-1980s baseball because it offered a nice balance of power, speed, and pitching.
