You have the best record in the league. Hate to break this to you, but there is 0% chance a usefull player clears all the other teams to make it to you for the playoffs.Philly Freedom

Exactly the issue I've had with OOTP regarding this. You'd think with 40 man rosters, this rule would have been implemented or at least made optional.Originally posted by Pat View PostIt's not the same with OOTP or the BLB for that matter. You can actually add minor league players to the roster when the playoffs start.
I agree, this and the waiver-deadline, are rules we should visit this off-season.Denver Bulls

I stand corrected. There may be players that have already cleared that could be of interest. I'm on to you, sir.Originally posted by BradZ View PostYou have the best record in the league. Well, all I know is any team trading with a Contender at this point in the season should be holding out for a King's Ransom.Originally posted by BradZ View PostI preemptively call a special session of the trade committee.
I think if we want to implement the August 31st Playoff Roster Rule next season, it would be pretty easy to track. The Great One!
Too many rings to count.

Looks like O'Loughlin has been doing better since you put him on a count. You can thank me after the season is over & you've won the division.Originally posted by Spear View PostChristmas came early for the Brawlers. I'm just glad we showed up to play you guys when it counted.
P.S. I'm pretty sure I suggested it to you as I traded him to you & you said something about not believing in pitch counts.

Think you might have won the WC if you had hung onto Pateshall and O'Loughlin?Originally posted by Jim View PostLooks like O'Loughlin has been doing better since you put him on a count. You can thank me after the season is over & you've won the division.

Not the way Pateshall was pitching for me. I think there are some players who do better in one league or another...who knows why. He's been awesome for you.Originally posted by Pat View PostThink you might have won the WC if you had hung onto Pateshall and O'Loughlin?
O'Loughlin was good for me but Pearson has really stepped up recently & pitched like I thought he could. I couldn't have predicted that. I figured Indy would make a big move, which they did, and then I figured I had no chance. I obviously wouldn't have predicted a 3 game sweep this late in the season with their additions.
I'll be pumped if we make the WC but if we don't I think my team made a nice push the last couple months.Dallas Snappers
