How is everyone's minor league teams doing?

I've been watching mine the last few weeks. My major league talent is just not there. About a third of my guys on the Active Roster should probably actually be in AA right now still developing. I'm working on getting this franchise back on the right track and building with youth. I want to be able to think about contending by the mid-80's. I should be in Detroit by then and in a normal sized ballpark.

We can not get Virginia in the rearview mirror soon enough.

Virginia finished three games under .500 in 1978, two games under .500 in 1979, and in 1980 you are 44-67. Its not like its been all bad in Virginia.

While I appreciate your input, wins and losses do not always tell the tale. Look at the contracts that the previous ownership locked in before bolting. Look at the youngsters already promoted to the 40 man. Yes, being around .500 for two years is "OK"... but this franchise is in disaray.

Actually, it was necessary. My joke was nicely played. You had nothing to counter so you thought you'd post "strike one", which I'm almost positive you've used before....so you're recycling old material.

My AA club, the Hunstville Yankees swept the Athens Brawlers in four games, 8-4, 7-5, 11-2, 4-2. Now I await the winner of the Rono Bootleggers and Middletown Whalers.

My AAA club, the El Paso Yankees, will face the Winston-Salem Tobs this next week.

My AA had won the Championship two years in a row. We finished 46 games above .500 this season, but couldn't keep pace with a manager that chose to stack his AA and AAA teams while his ML team fizzled.

My AAA team won the division, but I don't have much hope for their playoff chances. I'm going to have to call up another one of its best players this week due to an injury and already dealt 2 of the better pitchers on the team to my opponent.
