Yeah... what I meant yesterday is I thought I knew who you were targeting... not the guy you said was the #1 FA. With the amount of money you spent on the player... I'm like 85% positive I know who you bid on.

Maybe.... but if it matters... I didn't even know I was making him an offer till late last night when I was reviewing the class. I expected to make no offers, but decided to take a run at one. But, if the price goes up, I go out.

There are very good guys out there who are ASKING for a good price... but if anyone thinks that some of these guys (specifically the MRs) that are asking for pennies are going to go for that... I think you'll be dissappointed.

I'm sure many of those guys will get into bidding wars. Someone will overpay. We'll see who it is.

There's a certain MR/CL from the DL that is asking like $650,000. If someone lands him for $3.0 per, I'd stop short of saying they overpaid.

Did you receive any responses from players in your messages? If they flat out reject your offer I think your "Offered Contracts" will be reduced by the amount of the contract that was rejected and it will no longer show in Pending Offers.

It will still show in Pending Offers, but it will show that they prefer more money or an offer from another team.

Really? I had a FA tell me he couldn't afford to feed his family based on my offer and it doesn't show up in Pending Offers anymore.

Really? I may be wrong then. I could have swore it stayed there in pending offers until he signed with another team. Thats what I get for swearing.
