Good riddance. I haven't looked yet but that prob has free'd up a butt load of money. Even in OOTP2006, I believe I had the largest budget.Originally posted by AndrewOne notable retirement was Mutsohito Kuramochi. The first player ever in the BLB finished with a disappointing 38-39 record and 4.14 ERA in his career.

The financials are a joke. We lead the league in attendance, sell out every game, three straight BLB championship appearances.....
...and yet we do 5.5 mil in Media revenue? Dead Last
People can't wait to get go see the games, but if we sell out they figure they'd rather take a nice walk than watch on TV. And while taking that walk nobody want to buy a Playboys jersey to wear on said walk, being that we're dead last in merchandising revenue as well.
Yep, teams that lose 100+ games double our merchandising revenue.
The financials are crap, plain and simple.WINDY CITY PLAYBOYS

Wildcard Playoff Berths - 1984, 1988, 1993, 2010
Import League Champions - 1978, 1979, 1980, 1986, 2008, 2009

I agree that it sucks right now, but I think it will balance out over time. The teams who were blessed with good young cheap talent have small markets while the teams that got the high priced older guys have larger markets.Originally posted by JisticThe financials are a joke. Unfortunately that's just the way the inaugural draft has to work.
