Well, I'm honored to get my very first "YOU SUCK!" after a draft pick, with me picking Mohamed Makungu. Thanks, Sully! :D

He makes poor trades and flies off the handle occasionally. Has a strong dislike for Skerik and Sully.Originally posted by mahoney2Anyone mind posting up what their scouts thought of Wessinmous?
Seriously though. My top 2 scouts had him at 6/6/6/3/7 (70 ovr) Weird that he has such high avoid K's and low plate discipline. He's like Nomar.

As for TJ, yes, screw you. Makungu is a potential starter. Not sure how he made it out of the top 10. 5 of my 6 scouts had him with an endurance of 5. All rated him low to mid 70s. Throws mid 90's, with 5 pitches. Filthy.

I'm pretty happy with my pick of Kubota. He's by far the best catcher in the draft, which is a position I needed. He's exactly who I expected to get at 11.

Wessinmouse was going to be my pick at 13. My main scout loved him, but my #1 scout hated him. The rest of my scouting team had him in the high 60's/low 70's.Originally posted by mahoney2Anyone mind posting up what their scouts thought of Wessinmous? The Great One!

How do you know? If you can get 6 quality innings out of him with a good bullpen then he could make it. I had four scouts with him at a 5 and SISA had him rated at 5 as well.Originally posted by dieselboyAll my scouts had his endurance at "4", and one at "5". That tells me he is probably about a 48-49 on a 1-100 scale. It's definitely doable.

Thanks for posting up regarding Wessinmous. His name sucks, commish report to the To-Do list thread.
I wonder what the Guides will do with their 19 picks in round 2. They can probably accumulate some decent talent.

I think I have 2 scouts with a pitching rating of 75, and one with 80, that had him at 5. I'll trust them over your expert opinion. He definitely has the potential to be a starter.Originally posted by dieselboy

You have two scouts with a "75" and one with a "70". My lowest pitching scout, is the only one of mine that had him at a "5".Originally posted by SullyI think I have 2 scouts with a pitching rating of 75, and one with 80, that had him at 5. I'm not too high on the last two picks. Joe Tojeira. My scouts had him at an average in the high 50s. Looks like a strikeout machine.
Joop Lubbers was as high as 78 from one scout and as low as 40, average of 56.
I love the difference in scouting.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Thats probably a good pick then.Originally posted by SullyThere was a huge dropoff in talent a few picks before mine. I wasn't sold on Tojeira, but 4 of my 6 scouts had him low 60s, and the other two had him high 50s. And it was a position of need.
There was definitely a huge drop-off. I do still have one guy who my scouts averaged at "74", another guy at "69" and then about ten guys in the low "60s".Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Tojeira had really nice numbers from 5 of my scouts... unfortunately, the one guy who hated him is my best scout and he had him at a 20/20.Originally posted by SullyThere was a huge dropoff in talent a few picks before mine. Bleh. Wasn't much on the board at 17 and I bypassed a few other more talented players to draft need. My top pitching scout is very high on Nelson, so hopefully he knows what he's doing.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990
