So is there where people start listening to that one scout that just loves someone hoping to find a diamond in the rough?Originally posted by SkerikBleh. Wasn't much on the board at 17 and I bypassed a few other more talented players to draft need. My top pitching scout is very high on Nelson, so hopefully he knows what he's doing.
There are still some quality relievers on the board. It's interesting to see them all get passed up for other guys who look to be hidden gems.

mine was pretty consistent low 70's, high 60's. but they could all be wrong :)Originally posted by TJdaSportsGuyJoop Lubbers was almost my 2nd 1st round pick. One scout had him at a 77 overall, another had him at 54. I wish my damned scouts would get together and friggin' agree with one another.

Same here....I had either 1 or 2 of my scouts who had him at a 20. I thought about still giving him a shot but didn't in the end.Originally posted by ClayTojeira had really nice numbers from 5 of my scouts... unfortunately, the one guy who hated him is my best scout and he had him at a 20/20.Originally posted by SullyThere was a huge dropoff in talent a few picks before mine. I wasn't sold on Tojeira, but 4 of my 6 scouts had him low 60s, and the other two had him high 50s. And it was a position of need.Dallas Snappers
