I actually do. I respect everyone's opinion. I'm still going to be the guy that throws votes at people, though, because I have no problems with a bigger Hall than most.

But, that's me. It's not like everyone is gonna start voting for the Clint Lance's of the world.

I guess that's why everyone votes their own way. I think a HOF worthy spans over time. People who flame out quickly are worthy but not as worthy (to me) as someone is consistently very good for a longer period of time.

I don't disagree with what you're saying. Consistency is important to me. So take those three years out. He still averages (these are all ball parks) a 3.10 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 14 wins, 225 Ks. That's not flaming out or flaming in IMO. So those three dominant years are on top of one solid career.
