Since we have our own joke thread now:

A woman gets stung by a wasp while playing golf and goes to see her Doctor to get it checked out.

I was just trying to direct it to a central thread.

Of course, that kind of defeats the whole organic nature the conversations we have, but I thought I'd do my best to pool it into one thread for everyone to check on when they want.

If no one uses this thread, and it dies here, that's fine... just thought I'd give another alternative for people looking to talk BS with everyone, without filling up threads that some look at for information about teams around the league.

I wasn't bitching about the shit talking. I just asked that we curb it a little in the actual SIM thread. We have a handful of owners who check in at work or quickly here and there and I just was hoping to keep that thread somewhat clean.

Again, not a huge deal... I like when people are talking. Just trying to keep the SIM threads a little "pure".

EDIT: And by "clean" I'm not talking language... just sticking to the results of the SIM, etc...

To be fair, yeah, we took it a little bit too far. However, pretty much all of us have known each other for quite some time. It's not something that happens every single day. Clay asked us to cut back, and I'm sure we will. I just hate policing of things that don't need to be policed.

BS, exactly what this thread is. Is it really necessary? One thread goes off topic and all of a sudden we need a separate thread for nonsense? We get new sim threads every other day. So what if guys have a little fun when the thread has completely died.

The boards were dead. Nobody was talking baseball in the thread. A few guys were poking fun at each other. Isn't that better than nobody posting anything at all?

The sim thread was getting too crowded, and some people actually use the thread to talk baseball.

So, here's the thread for all the jokes/BS'ing/tirades that don't fit in any one particular thread.

Try to keep the other threads on topic, if at all possible.

And so this is a BLB post... 1-5. Hit .185 for the week, which I know we're better than that. Pitching was pretty solid. Bullpen looks great. It was probably the most encouraging 1-5 sim I've ever had.
